EL_ONE project

EL__one Project is a multimedia object that mix electronic music, jazz, rock, with the use of a visual component , processed Live , by algorithms sensitive to music volume variations and movement of the musician’s body.

The songs contain : written musical parts and "free" moments, where the performers move in defined harmonic regions.

From a compositional point of view, the predominant aspect consists of the LIVE performance of the components: Electronics, Electric Guitar, Double Bass, Voice/sax and Visual part.

In particular, electronics use projects that elaborate in real time the aspects related to the psychoacoustics of sound: pitch, duration, intensity, timbre, spectrum. These parameters are constantly varied by software applications that modulate the values during execution. For example, a drum rhythm will have variables related to the touch/intensity of the elements of the percussion kit, as well as the choice of the piece to be hit, or the delay or advance (humanization) of the time to be held. First of all, we try to avoid the repetitive "loop", typical of most of the electronic music of recent years, linked in particular to the live performances of DJ sets.
